Well known pet insurance company chooses Movoda

Agria has become a keen worldwide supporter of numerous voluntary organisations striving to promote the welfare of animals. Agria is also very proud to have built a strong relationship with the British Kennel Club in their promotion of dog health, while also supporting Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) for cats. Collaboration with other animal organisations have helped Agria remain at the forefront of animal health development and building upon these relationships will remain a major focus for Agria and its future growth.

Agria also maintains a close relationship with the veterinary profession and breeders all over the UK. These important relationships provide the platform on which to develop products and services to satisfy the changing needs of pet owners and the many organisations that support them.

Being a telephone and web based business, Agria relies hugely on the quality of telecoms services they receive 7 days a week. As with any business, price is extremely important but not at the cost of service or network quality. The project identified was to look at consolidation of multiple vendors to reduce cost but also take on board regulation changes introduced by Ofcom on the routing of 0800 numbers. Operating from an inbound and outbound call centre in Aylesbury, calls were previously being routed through Non Geographic Numbers but with limited control and also reporting functionality to help the marketing team team establish key trends and campaign targeting. As of July 1st 2015 due to the changes in regulations on 0800 number charges introduced by Ofcom, Agria were in a position where their call charges could potentially increase by over 30% with absolutely no benefits to the business whatsoever.

This is where Movoda came in and through extensive analysis of current suppliers and billing information, were able to not only reduce the outgoing call costs of the business by over 40%, but also implement a transition to 03 number ranges with significant cost savings and realtime data analysis and marketing control. The third part of the project is to look at replacing the traditional ISDN30 telephone lines with SIP trunks, allowing a fixed monthly cost to be used for budgeting every month, but also introducing a level of disaster recovery which wasn't previously present.

To date, significant financial savings have been made and the management of the telecoms estate has been greatly improved.
