Numbers add up to deliver better productivity for Monahans mobile users
Monahans are one of the largest leading firms of independent chartered accountants in the South West of England with 6 regional offices in Wiltshire, Avon and Somerset. Monahans are a member of MHA, a fast growing association of UK independent accountancy firms.
This nationwide network of offices allows them to provide an enhanced service to their clients wherever they may be located.
When Monahans approached Movoda they had been using the same supplier on the Vodafone network for several years and over time had become somewhat frustrated with the reactive service levels they were receiving. The requirements were relatively simple where they needed a solution that was fit for purpose and cost effective but was also monitored regularly to ensure ongoing competitiveness in a fast moving market.
One of the key areas was the varying levels of users within the company account and how to make the most of a combined solution to cater for everyone's needs. Movoda started the process by collating and analysing the mobile billing of the company over a 12 month period to establish any spikes in usage and when these occurred. This would allow Movoda to accurately recommend the most suitable solution for Monahans going forward. The results of the analysis showed that there were key users who were exceeding their allowance and others that were using next to nothing. It also showed that for the past 24 months the tariff plan had been totally incorrect for their needs, making it uncompetitive and difficult to manage.
The outcome and recommendation was to move from Vodafone to O2 on a fully shared voice and data solution, reducing overall expenditure by circa 30%, whilst ensuring unexpected data charges were a thing of the past.
